The main focus of the work of the Purple Community Fund is providing opportunities for the families living in urban slums in the Philippines. Our holistic combination of community projects support these families to make permanent changes to their lives.
Mothers will earn a generous sustainable reliable wage making our beautiful range of recycled products. Fathers will receive training skills in the construction industry and support into employment.
All our handcrafted products will be sold locally and on our online shop and at events. 100% of the profit from the sale of the goods goes back into our programmes.

Families often survive on one or two small meals a day consisting mainly of rice and gravy. The elderly, toddlers, children not in school, disabled, pregnant and nursing mothers are the most vulnerable in the community. Community volunteers have requested that we extend their community feeding programme providing a daily hot nutritious meal.

Families are unable to afford basic health care and there is a desperate need for a community walk in clinic. Families do not have enough nourishing food and their resistance to disease and illness is low. In partnership with The Local Church (KCM), PCF will run a community walk in clinic and train and equip 50 mothers as community health workers in primary health and preventative care.
